"Mrs. Sarah W. Armor Dead
Mrs. Sarah Wright Armor, wife of Dr. Smith Armor, died at the family residence, Second and Walnut street, Columbia, on Friday afternoon from a complication of diseases after a long illness, aged eight-six years. The deceased was a daughter of the late William A. Martin, and was born in Muncy, Lycoming county, Pa. In 1953 she was married in Columbia to Dr. Armor. She was a member of the Presbyterian church all her life. Mrs. Armor is survived by her husband who is eighty-six years of age and the oldest living graduate of Hahnemann College, Philadelphia, and who practices his profession every day. Two daughters survive, Mrs. Chellie A. Reeside, of Washington, D.C., and Miss Elizabeth H. Armor, at home. The funeral was held on Tuesday from her late home, and the interment was made in Mt. Bethel cemetery."
