The residences of Benjamin and Franky Quinn recorded in various sources, mostly deeds, are as follows:

Spotsylvania Co., VA 1777 – 1779
Culpeper Co., VA 1782 – Mar. 1788
Fayette Co., KY Nov. 1788
Woodford Co., KY 1790-1791 *
Scott Co., KY 1794-1823 *

* Woodford Co. was created in 1789 from Fayette Co. Scott Co. was created in 1792 from Woodford Co. The location where the Quinns settled in Fayette Co. may have later become Woodford Co. and then Scott Co.

One source concerning Benjamin's land states that the land deeded to him in KY in 1789, was in Woodford County (now Scott), the land was next owned by his son, Richard, and then by his grandson Benjamin Taylor Quinn.

Lucust Grove, a farm of 180 acres on the Ironworks Pike, was cited on the 1879 map of Scott County as having been settled in 1788. The frame house which today graces the old Quinn farm probably dates from the post-Civil War period. The Rev. B. T. Quinn, who was the 1879 owner of the farm, was born in 1825 to Richard and Cynthia Nall Quinn.....("A History of Scott County As Told By Selected Buildings" Pg 226)

Benjamin Quinn Sr. buried in burial ground located on his land on Iron Works Pike, in Scott Co., KY ("Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, Vol. 3, p. - Serial: 7783; Volume 5. Ancestry.com)

Quinn-Branham Family Cemetery consists of two acres of land located on Ironworks Road. Today two other sides of the cemetery boarder property located at 100 Locust Grove Drive. For some unknown reason, the cemetery is listed as Corinth Cemetery in Scott County Property Valuation Administrator(PVA). A survey of the cemetery lists:
Willie Howard Quinn 1855-1855
Amanda Q. Branham 1850-1873
Kate Branham (no dates)

We believe that Benjamin Quinn "buried in burial ground located on his land on Iron Works Pike, in Scott Co., KY" is buried in the Quinn-Branham Family Cemetery (Corinth Cemetery) on Ironworks Road. Given its size, the cemetery many contain other burials.

A stone marker located on the site of the first settlement in Scott Co., KY was dedicated by the Big Spring Chapter of DAR in remembrance of Revolutionary War soldiers buried in the County. The names include Benjamin Quinn Sr. ("Families & History of Scott County, Kentucky" Turner Publishing Co., Paducah, KY; includes picture of the monument)
