Phillip (sic) Dotson, 70, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Wapello, died Sunday, June 11, 1989, in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was born in Wapello. He married Pauline Atherton in January 1942.

He was a farmer and was later employed as a cement finisher.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Shirley Clark and Phyllis Szyprka, both of Phoenix, Arizona, and Penny Shannon, Stone Mountain, Georgia; three brothers, Jack Dotson and Lee Earl Dotson, both of Wapello, and Glen Dotson, Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Mary Jane Scheihing, Wapello; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The service for Mr. Dotson was today in Phoenix, Arizona.
