Obituary for Juanita Fay Earp

Juanita Fay Earp, aged 11 years, 11 months and 6 days, departed this life at the Poyclinic Hospital, Oklahoma City, Feb. 6, 1942, where she had been a patient two weeks. Juanita was a seventh grade pupil in Stroud school this year. She is survived by her father and mother, Claud R. and Opal Earp, two grandmothers, many relatives and a host of friends. Even during her illness she thought of others, always asking about their welfare. She was a sweet, patient sufferer to the last. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Stroud by the writer, with burial in the Stroud Cemetery.

"Whatever life may bring you is tempered by His love,
You are the child of His unfailing care;
Then do not be discouraged but trust this friend above,
And Make your wants and wishes known in prayer.
When death has drawn the curtain to all that's bright and fair,
And left you nothing but a memory,
Then think of God's tomorrow coming over there,
With perfect joy for all eternity."
