Francis Barretto was a member of C Company, 194th Tank Battalion. He fought in the Philippine Islands from December 1941 until the fall of Bataan on April 9, 1942. He took part in the Bataan Death March and was held as a Prisoner of War at Camp O'Donnell and Cabanatuan. He died while a POW at Cabanatuan.
