Regina (Sonnenberg) Germann, 95, of Napoleon, Ohio died peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her residence.

She was born on October 18, 1916 in Monroe Township, to the late George & Sophie (Lange) Sonnenberg.

On April 17, 1938 she was married to Harold Germann at St. Paul Lutheran Flatrock Twp. He preceded her in death on
November 9, 1989.

Regina was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon since 1981. She held various offices at the church and was active in the Mission Society, Altar Guild, and Golden Agers. She was also a prior member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flatrock Twp., and Emmaus Lutheran Church, Wauseon.

As well as being a homemaker, Regina worked for Page & Cox, where she candled eggs and Red & White & Miller's Grocery Store's meat department. In retirement, Regina enjoyed volunteering at Meals On Wheels and apart from her family and faith, Regina loved to crochet and play cribbage.

She is survived by children; Randolf (Phyllis) Germann of Napoleon, OH, Rev. Terry (Susan) Germann of Taos, NM, and Charlotte Price of Grand Rapids, OH, grandchildren; Mark (Dorothy) Germann, Robert (Nicki) Germann, Jennifer (Martin) Molz, Amanda (Jeff) Dalton, Hans Germann, Luke Germann, Molly (Rick) Biddle, and Mende (Lorne) Symington, great grandchildren; Ryan & Erin Germann, Elliot Molz, Hanz Dalton, Wesley & Riley Biddle, and Taylor & Max Symington, brothers; Victor (Francis) Sonnenberg, Gilbert (Dona) Sonnenberg, and Roger Sonnenberg.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Price, sister and brother-in-law, Hulda (Otto) Hahn, brother and sister-in-law, Hugo (Esther) Sonnenberg, and sister-in-law, Eloise Sonnenberg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Interment will follow at Glenood Cemetery, Napoleon.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at Rodenberger
Funeral Home, Napoleon and 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Radio Station WTPS, Hospice of Henry County, or a charity of the donor's choice.
