His wife was Mary Hajdek, their children were: Joseph (1894), Anna (1896), Frank (1897), James (1899), James (1899), Rose (1902), Emma (1911), Benjamin (1914)

Joe Adamec passed away in the town of Hayward on Wednesday, July 16, 1947. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Alexander Funeral Home. Interment in Greenwood cemetery.
