El Dorado County Probate File spells the surname as FEGLEY, including his name and signature on his Last Will & Testament. He bequeathed his entire estate after payment of his debts and funeral to Abraham Darlington, who also served as the Executor of the Estate. No funeral expense vouchers for Mr. Fegley's burial were found in the Probate file. It MAY have been that Mr. Darlington buried his friend Fegley on his home property, but there is no documentary evidence that such burial occurred at the Darlington cemetery other than the fact that Darlington was the sole divisee.
