Charles Alsager, 92, of Story City died yesterday evening at the Story City Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted on Monday.

He had been a resident of Story City since 1904 when he and four brothers opened a dry goods store. He continued that business until his retirement 15 years ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. a the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City with Rev. Harold Masted officiating. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery. The body will remain at the Soderstrum Larson Funeral Home until noon on the day of the services.

Survivors include two brothers, Severt Alsager of Story City and Johan of Aakre, Norway; two sisters, Serine Alsager of Skaanevik, Norway and Mrs. Helene Kjelsvik of Skaasnevik, Norway; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
