Frances traveled from Paducah, Kentucky to Mobile, Alabama and back during the Civil War to be with her husband, Phillip Hugh Wallace, an officer in the Confederate Army. Upon on her return, the Woolfolk family was not admitted to return to Paducah. They stopped in Memphis, Tennessee.
Frances is interred with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law.
