Eunice Croft Pevey, 79, of Savannah, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Hospice Savannah. She was born in Evans County, GA., and was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Pevey, and her parents, H. B. and Zebbie Jones Croft, Sr. She was a member of Wildwood United Methodist Church. She was retired from Lee Furniture Company, having served as a Bookeeper.
She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Ann and Don Chance of Pooler, GA; a son and daughter in law, Ben and Dale Pevey of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Dollie Barnes, of Savannah and Thelma Smith, of Claxton; three grandsons and granddaughter in law, Kevin Shuman, Eddie and Ginger Pevey, and Stephen and Melissa Pevey; granddaughter and grandson in law, Patricia and Dana Jones; three great-granddaughters, Alexus Jones, Makaylah Pevey, and Makenzie Pevey; great-grandson, Hunter Pevey., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funer al Home Ð Hodgson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Cecil Grey, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Shuman, Eddie Pevey, Stephen Pevey, Andy Blackburn, Dana Jones and Brian King.
