Bobby Dewayne Fowler (1962 - 2012)
Bobby Dewayne Fowler, 50, left this earth on Nov. 12, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery.
Bobby was born Sept. 6, 1962, in Mexia, to Dennie Dewayne and Barbara Cooper Fowler. He was a graduate of Mexia High School and The University of Texas at Tyler, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.
Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Cook, in 1987. They had two wonderful children, Brandy Nicole and Cody Thomas. He worked for American Airlines for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennie Dewayne Fowler; grandparents Bernard and Ruby Cooper, and Thomas Buddy Fowler and Laverne Styers; and brother-in-law Randy Booth.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Phyllis Cook Fowler; daughter Brandy Nicole Fowler and fiancé Eddie Garcia; son Cody Thomas Fowler; mother Barbara Cooper Fowler; sister-in-law Connie Booth; nieces Kaylee and Ashlee Booth; great-niece Sophie Arthur; uncle Terry Cooper and wife Patty; aunt Belinda Hansen and husband Alan; cousins Diana Loftin and husband Shane, Jamie Carlile, Jacob Cooper, Lance, Savannah and Tori Loftin, and Joshua Carlile.
Pallbearers will be Cody Fowler, Jamie Carlile, Brian George, David Pearson, Rodney Russell and Mack Williamson.
