A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at Good Sheherd Lutheran Church in Eugene for Marjorie Zane of Eugene, who died Nov. 11 of age-related causes. She was 95.
She was born July 31, 1917, in Philadelphia to Nolan and Dorothy Kriebel Zane.
She graduated from University High School, attended the University of Oregon and was a self-taught naturalist and artist. During World War II, she worked for aircraft plant in Tucson, Ariz. In Eugene, she created window displays for Kauffman's Department Store.
