SCOTT OSER COOPER, 51, died at his home in Lake Stevens on Sunday morning following a short illness. Mr. Cooper was born in Mount Chase, Maine, May 27, 1897 and had resided in Everett and vicinity for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Everett Aerie No. 13, FOE, and the Shingle Weavers Local. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Cooper, of Lake Stevens, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Strand of Burlington, a son Spencer Cooper of Lake Stevens, two sisters, Mrs. (Albina) Ward Doran of Burlington, and Mrs.(Tillie) George Miller of Seattle; a brother Donald Cooper of Kalama, and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home of Purdy & Walters. The Rev. Elroy Shikles officiated. Burial was held in the Evergreen Cemetery.
