She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude Sant, Lou and Robert Summar and Floyd Gardner; great uncle, Alvin Lemens; father-in-law, Emory Altman; aunt, Gertie Lou Harwell and great-grandparents, Frank and Gertie Lyles.
Windy is survived by her husband, Gregory Altman, Sr. and her son, Gregory Altman II of Midland, TX; father, Eddie Gardner; mother and stepfather, Betty S. Kitts and Glenn Kitts; brother, Douglas Gardner; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Grace and Paul Bevins; uncle, Walter Grimmitt; great-aunt, Myrtle Lemens; aunts, Claudett Wynne and Denise Chambers; 10 nieces and nephews; grandmother, Willie Mattson; three sisters-in-law and several cousins and friends.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2004, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy. Midland, Texas (432) 683-5555.
