Tara Danette Larson, 40 of Arkansas City went to be in the arms of our Heavenly father Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Dodge City.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Northside Baptist Church in Arkansas City. Pastor John Haley will officiate.
Tara was born December 3, 1971 to R. Chris Larson and Deana Lee (Watson) Larson in Ponca City, OK. She graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1990 and continued at Cowley College and Butler County Community College. Tara also attended the Bryan Institute for medical assistance training.
She is survived by her parents, Chris and Deana Larson of Arkansas City; children, Jesse Scott Hensley and wife, Amanda of Denham Springs, LA, Ezekiel "Zeke" Ian Hensley of Arkansas City, Kylee Renae Cary and Dayton Robert Cary both of Newkirk, OK; granddaughter, Addison; brother Zakary Larson of Arkansas City; nephew, Conner Larson of Arkansas City; grandparents, Howard and Delores Watson of Arkansas City; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Apoline Larson and an infant brother, Jace Ian Larson.
The family requests contributions be made to the memorial that has been established for the children's education fund in lieu of flowers. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
