Mrs Grace Bush Dies In Frankfort – Mrs Grace Lu Eve Bush died Thursday morning at her home, at 658 North
Columbia street, Frankfort, after an illness of three months. Mrs Bush was born in Mulberry, April 10, 1876, the daughter of Jacob and Emma (Brown) Eckhart. She was married to George Bush, October 13, 1896, who, with a son and two daughters, survives. As a young girl she was baptized a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church of Mulberry, spending her young womanhood here. Following her marriage to Mr Bush, the young couple established their home in Lafayette, where they resided for two years prior to going to Frankfort, where she had resided since. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Weidner and Kent funeral home in Frankfort, with the Rev Defenderfer of the Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in the Fair Haven cemetery. The body will be removed from the funeral home today and taken to the residence, where friends may call. It will remain there until shortly before the hour of the funeral on Saturday. Mrs Bush was the last member of her family. At the time of her marriage, the Jacob Eckhart family lived in the property now the home of Dallas Ruch. There were four children in the family. Frank died a few years ago in West Virginia; Harry passed away several years ago in Colorado. We know nothing of the fourth child.
