Henry Harris, 56, of 1810 Jackson, a boilermaker at Murray Iron works, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday (October 12, 1951) at St. Francis hospital.
A native of England, he was born October 24, 1894, and came to the US and Burlington 30 years ago. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harris, a member of Woodlawn Avenue Baptist church and Eagles lodge. Harris was married December 26, 1919, in England.
Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth; 4 sons, Thomas, Charles, Robert, and George, all of Burlington: one brother, Thomas Harris of Burlington; and a brother and three sisters who llive in England. One son is dead.
The body is at Prugh's chapel.
