Jane Agatha Massmann Hartnett Mills was born February 28, 1928, the second of five chidren of Alfred John Massmann and Agatha Patricia Burke Massmann. In 1950, she married Charles Leo "Bud" Hartnett Jr. (son of Chicago Cubs catcher and manager Charles Leo "Gabby" Hartnett); they had four children. Later she married and divorced Larry Mills. She died April 14, 2012, in Maui, Hawaii.
