Robert is survived by his children, Robbin Botting (Jim) of Los Angeles, Samuel Ashenberner (Dolores) of Beaverton, Alan Ashenberner (Susan) of Portland, David Ashenberner (Linda) of Medford, Catherine Ashenberner of San Diego, Calif. Robert is also survived by 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Robert will be remembered as a successful businessman and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a fan of John Wayne and these words of the actor best describe the reasons for Robert's business success: "Talk low, talk slow and don't say too much."
Viewing will be at the Hillcrest Mortuary, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. Interment will be at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Rd, Eagle Point at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
