Louise C. Albaugh, 89, of Traverse City, Mich, died in that city Thursday after an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 13, 1890, to Henry and Anna (Borg) Niles in Chicago. She was educated in Chicago and married Alva Charles Albaugh, formerly of Clyde, on July 15, 1920 in Oak Park, Ill. She and her husband, who is now deceased, lived in Detroit, Mich., from 1920 to 1970 at which time she moved to Traverse City.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Marilynne) Henderson, Livermore, Calif.; Mrs. John (Eleanor) Shaw of Williamsburg, Mich.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Heard of Oswego, Ill.
She was a member of the Rosedale Park Lutheran Church in Detroit, a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Ionic Chapter No. 422 in Detroit.
The Rev. John Ferne of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Clyde, will officiate at graveside services at McPherson Cemetery at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Hibbard Funeral Chapel, Traverse City, is in charge of arrangements.
