WILMA M. BISCHOFF

Decatur native Wilma M. Bischoff, 66, Rt. 2, Wolcotville, died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday in LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange, after having been ill for 4 1/2 months.
She was born January 9, 1915 to William and Georgia Anderson-Foughty, and was married in Decatur on October 10, 1952 to Hugo "Fred" Bischoff, who survives.
She moved from Decatur to the Wolcotville area 17 years ago after retiring from the Fort Wayne General Electric Co. plant. She worked 29 years for GE.
Mrs. Bischoff was past president of the Johnson Township Extension Homemakers' Club, vice president of the LaGrange County Extension Homemakers' organization, and a member of the GE Elix Club.
Also surviving are son, Billy Roe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two stepdaughters, Mrs. William (Sherri) Jacks and Lynn Johnson, both of Fort Wayne; two sisters; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hutchins-Williams Funeral Home in Wolcotville, with Rev. Lawrence Norris officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Park in Fort Wayne.
Visiting hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
