She married William H. Iddings on 14 July, 1870. She was his second wife.
From her obituary, "Mrs. Mary Iddings died suddenly and alone at her residence, corner of Thirteenth Street and Hart Avenue, Sunday morning, the 15th inst, near 11 o'clock.
When found she had not been dead a great while and seems to have been making an effort to warm her feet in the stove oven when the death messenger came. Her age was about 69 years. Mrs. Iddings did not live alone, usually having the company of her daughter, who was at church at the time death overtook her mother.
Coroner Wolverton was notified and held an inquest, arriving at the conclusion that death had resulted from organic heart trouble.
Funeral services were observed from the U.B. Church in Greenville Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Reverend Wilson; interment in the Greenville cemetery."
