Driver dies, 2 are injured in single-vehicle crash in St.Louis County
Andrew C. Brockmeier, 21, of Arnold, was killed and his two passengers were injured in a single-vehicle accident about 1 a.m. Sunday on Lemay Ferry Road at Lemay Woods Drive in south St. Louis County, authorities said.
Brockmeier's vehicle was going at high speed when it hit an embankment and flipped over, authorities said. Brockmeier was wearing a seat belt.
One passenger was in serious condition at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur and another passenger was taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center in South County with minor injuries.
