DEATH OF GOOD SHEPHERD SISTER
Sister Mary Michael Brennan died at the convent of the Good Shepherd, Omaha, on Wednesday morning, July 12. The deceased Sister was born in Canada about sixty years ago, and came to Omaha about five years ago. Sister Mary had been ill for the past few weeks, but it was thought she would recover. The end came rather suddenly, though she died fortified b all the rites of the Church. Sister Mary was well known in this city, from the fact that she was an out-door Sister and was dressed in a black habit, unlike the house Sisters, who wear the white habit. Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated in the chapel of the Good Shepherd convent at 9 o’clock on Thursday morning for the repose of her soul. The remains were laid to rest in the Sisters’ lot in Holy Sepulcher cemetery.
