Barbi Sterner Brandao, 43, of Spring Valley died Sunday. She was born in San Diego and was a watercolor artist. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Lakeside.
Survivors include her husband, Alexandre Brandao; parents, Paul Sterner of San Diego and Cecelia Sabri of Fayetteville, N.C.; sisters, Karen Cartmill of Sisters, Ore., and Alison Shamsby of San Diego; and brothers, Paul Harris and Scott Sterner of Santee, Stephen Sterner of Spring Valley and Lance Sterner of Ohio.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Pathways Community Church, 9626 Carlton Hills Blvd., Santee.
Scattering of ashes: after services, at sea.
