Ernestine Hearn Allen (Teeny), 89, of LaGrange died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Allen was born January 18, 1919 in Ashland, AL, daughter of the late Ernest Hearn and Annie Lola Levie Hearn. She had lived in LaGrange most of her life and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Allen was employed with the Troup County School System, teaching at Mountville and Eastside Primary, before retiring. She was a lifelong avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus Lam "C.L." Allen.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Hillview East Cemetery with Dr. Paul Baxter officiating.
