Mrs. Martha Ramona Jacqueline (Morgan) Easom Hudson, age 76, died July 4, 2007, in Moss Point, Miss after a battle with cancer. She was born July, 1, 1931, in Rual Hill, Miss.
Jackie had worked with the State of Mississippi as an Auditor for over 40 years, was a member of Dantzler Memorial United Methodist Church and on the Board of Our Daily Bread.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Townsend Morgan and Lillian Earline (Taylor) Morgan; her first husband, James "Pete" Easom; her son, James "Mike" Easom; sisters, Joyce Carolyn Morgan, Sybil Jeanette Hobby, Dorothy Jean Arthur, Margret Lucille Hudspeth and Bertha Earline Atkison; brothers, Henry Wayne Morgan, Lester Taylor "Tommy" Morgan and Clarence Townsend Morgan; nieces, Jackie Davis and Connie Atkison; a nephew, Gary Hudspeth; brother's-in-law, James Thomas "J.T." Hudson , Robert Allen "Bobby" Hudson; sister-in-law, Viola "Sister" Hester.
Survivors include: her husband, Edward "Ed" Hudson of Moss Point; sister's-in-law, Joyce Price, Shizuko 'Yogi' Hudson and Annette Hudson. Two granddaughters; Natasha (Tex) Peterson and Tamera (Truitt) Thornhill of Carthage; brother, James N. "Jimmy" Morgan of Benton; nieces, Pat Hubbard and Renee Goodman; nephews, Bill (Crystal) Arthur and Don (Leslie) Price; two great grandsons, Aydan Thornton and Jason Peterson.
The family prefers donations be made to the Hospice of Light.
Visitation will be today at Holder-Wells Funeral Home from 7pm until 9pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 10am at Dantzler Memorial United Methodist Church in Moss Point with Rev. David Greer officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4pm Saturday, July 7, 2007, in Carthage, Mississippi
