Edith Fincham was born Jan. 28, 1871 near Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas, the daughter of John E. Talbot and Evaline Taylor Talbot. She married William Fincham, Jr. Dec. 07, 1893 in Marysville, KS. To this union were born 7 children; Clayton William, Gertrude Mae, Victor Herbert, Vida Edith, Edwin Alonzo, Myrtle Evelyn, and Ruth Pearl. Mrs. Fincham passed away Oct. 14, 1949 in her home east of Blue Rapids, KS. Survivors beside her husband, her children and their spouses was one brother, Walter Talbot of San Diego, CA and 28 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, rural Blue Rapids, KS.
