Mrs. Miner was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Providence, R.I., and was raised in Portland. She graduated from Washington High School in 1936 and was a homemaker. She moved to California in the 1960s and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. In 1940, she married Gordon L.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Barbara Collins of Eldoret, Kenya, and Diane Wheatley of Liverpool, N.Y.; son, David B. of Fredericksburg, Va.; sisters, Grace M. Hill of Tualatin and Ruth Sconce of Milwaukie; and eight grandchildren.
