Audrey Stein of Littleton, formerly of Port Jervis, NY, passed away June 17, 2008. She was 85.
Graveside services were held June 20 at Beth-El Cemetery in Port Jervis. Arrangements were made by Gray-Parker Funeral Home.
"Audrey was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by her children and grandchildren," the family said.
She was born Dec. 22, 1922, in New York City to the late Dr. Abraham and Helene Grubman Orenstein.
Audrey married Dr. Nathan Stein on May 19, 1946, in New York City.
They were married for 57 years until his death on June 13, 2003.
Mrs. Stein worked as an investment broker for Merrill Lynch, J.B. Hanauer and Hanauer Stern.
She belonged to Temple Beth-El in Port Jervis and was a lifetime member of Hadassah.
Mrs. Stein is survived by her son\Robert A. Stein of Littleton and daughters Sheryl (Moshe Ratson) Stein of New York City and Arlene (Dr. Robert Ginsburg) Stein of Littleton;
grandchildren Adam Ginsburg, Samantha Ginsburg, Zachary Ginsburg and Lee Ratson; and sister-in-law Ruth (Al) Sohn of Anaheim, Calif.
