Mrs. Herman Zeutenhorst passed away on Friday, November 3, 1950, at the age of 73 years.
She had been ailing for several months and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Koops, who had cared for her for the last few weeks.
Mrs. Zeutenhorst was born in the Netherlands on February 25, 1876.
On February 25, 1896, she was united in marriage to Mr. Herman Zeutenhorst, who preceded her in death in July, 1947.
She is now survived by six children, Bertha (Mrs. Wm. Koops); Dena (Mrs. Teunis Jansen) : Gerrit, all of Sioux Center; Herman of Byron Center, Michigan; Cora (Mrs. Evert Van Binsbergen) of Boyd, Minnesota; and John of Sioux Center. Also 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a brother Gerrit Westra of Chicago, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. Dick Bonnema of Hull.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gerrit who died at the age of six years, and Dick who passed away on March 23, 1947.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Koops home and at the First Reformed Church with Rev. P.A. De Jong officiating. Burial took place at the Sioux Center community cemetery.
