Omer Kellims, 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kellims, met with a tragic death last Friday, while dragging ties from the woods with a mule.

The mule ran away, catching the chain around the boy's leg, severing the entire leg from the body, by dislocating it at his hip. His father heard him and went to him. He asked for water and fro his mother, but she arrived to late for him to see her. He was lade to rest at Captain Anderson Cemetery.
