Her original tombstone was found inside of a Lilac bush growing on David Beanblossom's cemetery plot in this cemetery along with matching stones for Ida May and Archie Elmer Beanblossom in 1985. Dates of birth and death are unknown. Information on David and Elizabeth leads us to believe she was born and died between 1881 and 1885. Nebraska had no birth certificates on record until 1904. No other information is known about her.

In 2009 We visited the cemetery and found the lilac bush was gone and so were the stones.

In 2011 we placed a new tombstone for Ida, Archie, and Abbie, and David who had never had one.

May 10, 2013. I found a 1885 Nebraska Census record for William Smith Beanblossom, who has a plot next to David's in this cemetery. It shows a Daughter Abba V. age 11. Looking her up on the web, I found out she died in 1892. She would then be a cousin to David and buried in the next plot over. The lilac bush was planted on the borderline between plots. The cemetery has no records of anyone being buried in either plot. I am therefore editing her memorial to reflect my findings. The new tombstone is wrong in listing her as a child of David and Elizabeth Beanblossom. I plan on changing the tombstone as soon as the funds are there to do so. Gail Davis
