Debra "Debbie" Lee Antes, 53 Debra "Debbie" Lee Antes, 53, passed away at home in Aldan on October 21, 2012.
Debbie was the daughter of Richard Emil Grundhofer of Vestal, NY and Nancy McFadden (and the late Peter) Rohr of Havertown.Debbie was a 1977 graduate of Upper Darby High School where she excelled in sports and academics. She then graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Public Health. She worked for Presbyterian-Univ.
of Penn in various departments as an administrative assistant. Debbie then worked as a legal secretary after leaving the medical field. Debbie will be fondly remembered for being an outstanding record setting athlete and captain in Track and Field and for her sense of humor and smile. Debbie was an avid sports fan who also enjoyed watching games at the Linc where she also worked as a concierge.
But there is nothing she liked more than going down to North Cape May with her cats for the relaxing moments and solitude. Survivors: Along with her mother and father Debbie is survived by her sister Lori Grundhofer Mayer of West Chester and her children Heather and Stephen of Peach Bottom and Phoenixville; aunts Jane Welsh of Upper Darby and Phyllis Culp of TX; cousins; and her longtime companion Frank Cohen.
Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to Debbie's Life Celebration Monday November 5, 2012 12 Noon to 2 PM at Spencer T. Videon of Drexel Hill, Garrett Rd & Shadeland Ave. Service at 2 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Debbie's memory may be made to the SPCA of Delaware County, 555 Sandy Bank Rd, Media, PA 19063.
