Ricky Dean Arnold, age 51, of Hanover, Va., formerly of Wythe County, passed away Friday, Mar. 17, 2006 in the Veterans Hospital in Richmond. He was preceded in death by his father, Nile Newton Arnold, two brothers, Randy Arnold and Timothy Arnold. A step-son, Andrew Kilmon. He served in the United States Army.
Surviving are: his wife of the home; two sons of Charlotte, N.C. and Texas; two step-children; his mother of Pulaski; two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Mar. 21, 1 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randall Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery. American Legion Post #9 will conduct graveside military rites.
The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
