Lingen Chapel was built by Mr. James Nott of Letton. It was opened by Mr. W. J. Gisborne on the 26th of June 1877 with a splendid ceremony culminating in a tea for 400 people. This chapel is still in use today and is licensed for weddings and funerals.

It contains 120 seats in pews and 80 free sittings and holds services every fortnight.
