Approximately thirty-eight grave sites have been located to date in the cemetery (as of 22 Oct 2010), only twelve of which have full inscriptions of name and dates, ten of which have decipherable initials inscribed in the rough hewn stone markers, and the remainder of which were marked by rough stones only--either by a single headstone (sometimes plus a foot stone), or else by a pile of stones stacked in a 4' x 6' rectangular vault. Those graves that were also marked by foot stones give the researcher a clear indication whether the person interred was an adult or a child/infant.
According to the land platte map for Wise County, the 1.6 acre cemetery is in the shape of an East-West rectangle, the boundaries of which have yet to be definitively located by a county surveyor. The grave sites themselves are all situated on a 50º NE orientation (rather than a true 90º East orientation), and are situated in five or six rows. The rows have been arbitrarily numbered from Row One starting on the west (southwest) with only two graves, Row Two with nine graves, Row Two-A with one child's grave, Row Three with ten graves, Row Four with ten graves, and Rows five and six with two or three graves each (these last two rows were not cleaned, excavated, or photographed when this researcher conducted his documentation on 21-22 October 2010). Each grave site has been assigned a consecutive number for its Row, with #1 on the North. So the short-hand system of notation is as follows: R2W,G4N (to be read, "On Row 2 from the West side of the cemetery, Grave site #4 from the Northernmost stone on that Row.")
