Also site of the first burying ground deeded to East Parish by Major Barr in 1800. Rev. Samuel Williams, first settled pastor of the church and Honorable Samuel Williams, founder of the Rutland Herald and first deacon of the church are interred here.
Burials at this cemetery date back to the 1780s, and the last burial was in 1908. All marked graves have been documented, but there are numerous unmarked graves of early Rutland residents in the cemetery. The cemetery is located on North Main Street (Route 7) just north of the intersection with North Street.
