Cemetery #18
Also known as Cawley Cemetery B
Fort Eisenhower, Richmond County, Georgia, USA
When Ft. Gordon was created in 1940, the government ending up taking over a number of family cemeteries that were on the land. They continue to take care of these plots today, and have much historical documentation showing the state of the graves over the years.
Rather than naming cemeteries, the fort resorted to giving them numbers, which are posted at all sites.
