6 mi. S on US 183, E on FM 576 for 3.5 mi S on FM 1852 3 mi.
The oldest marked grave is that of Lurita Williams who was born May 4, 1824, and died May 13, 1882. She was the wife of J.C. Williams.
The Masonic Lodge owned a strip of land that reached from the road to the mountain on the east; they dedicated the east end of their land for a cemetery. The Masons reserved the south side of the cemetery for their members. The north side of the land was for other people who lived in the school district, paid taxes, voted, and sent their children to school in Wayland. Permission is required from the Masons for burial on the north side. Heirs of the land can still be buried here free, regardless of where they live.
This cemetery, is located behind the old school house, which is now used as a community center.
