The North Lansing Cemetery is located along the east side of Route 34 north of Ithaca. Since the early 19th century it has served as the burial ground for many residents of present-day Town of Lansing (Tompkins County) as well as the Towns of Genoa and Locke (in adjoining Cayuga County to the north) including members of the Bacon, Bower, Beardsley, Holden, Osman, and Teeter families. The cemetery pre-dates the North Lansing Methodist Church, built by the Methodist congregation in 1851, which faces the cemetery on the west side of Route 34 and is now occupied by the Faith Bible Fellowship.
