Photos

The Old Protestant Cemetery in Kożuchów (formerly Freystadt), also called the Holy Trinity Cemetery, was established in 1634 and enlarged to its current size in 1736. It fell into disuse after the city's German population was expelled in the aftermath of WWII. In the 1970s it was converted into a cemetery museum and closed to further burials; as a result, it is one of the best-preserved historic cemeteries in modern Poland, retaining gravestones from the 17th to early 20th century.
