History
This is an Anglican parish church of medieval origins with roof trusses of c1500 located in the parish of Ceidio with a population of 135 people. It was substanically restored in 1897 but C18 memorials and fittings survive. Marked as 'Capel Ceidio' on 2" OS Drawings for 1816-19.
The church became a private residence in 2016 when Valerie Bagnall was granted council permission to transform the building into a holiday unit as the church had been vacant for some time after the Church of Wales had already passed it into private ownership.
This particular cemetery is next door to a group of buildings that use to be a church chapel. The church itself is up the path and that leads to the second half of the cemetery. The last burial in this cemetery was in the 1970s.
