This church is now named Kilchrenan Parish Church.
The new structure was built by George Douglas Campbell, 8th Duke of Argyll, Baron of Lochow in 1770. The interior was remodeled in 1904.
There are some interesting features to this church. There is a stair case on the exterior of the church that goes from the ground to the second story, but there is no door or window there, the stairs just stop at the exterior wall.
