The cemetery was started by Abraham Justice in the 1950's and is now owned by Claude Thorpe, his nephew. There is about 3 acres remaining of the original 6 acres. The cemetery is not landscaped, there is a lot of erosion and mud, and some sunken spots. A great many of the graves are without tombstones, and the majority of graves are marked with temporary Funeral Home markers.
