Located at Enniskerry, about 24 km/15 miles south of Dublin, the Protestants of the town attended church on the Powerscourt Estate until about 1860 when the new church--St. Patrick's--was completed. A gift to village by the family of the Viscount Powerscourt, the church sits just outside the village at the edge of the Estate. It's foundation stone was laid in 1857.
