Directions: Leave the city centre via Carlyle Street, turn right at the traffic lights into Hyderabad Road. Keep heading north to the second roundabout and turn left onto Tamatea Drive. Travel 2 kilometres to the junction with Westminster Avenue. Keep right along Westminster Avenue to Clyde Jeffrey Drive on right.


Park Island cemetery was purchased in 1910 and burials commenced in 1917.
