John M. Fisher, 72 of Paint Rock died at 4 a.m. in Balinger Clinic-Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Concho Cemetary.
Born in Lawrence County Tennessee, January 1, 1887. Mr. Fisher came to Hopkins Count in 1892 with his parents the late Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Fisher. He moved to Concho County in 1908.
He owned and operated land in Concho County and near the Henderson community until his retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. J.B. Yancey with whom he has lived since retirement. Mr. Fisher's nephews served as pall bearers.
