George Caro, age 75, passed away on June 19, 2021. Born and raised in Los Angeles, George was a devoted husband, volunteer, and grandfather. He served in the Army, earned an MBA from California State LA, and worked for Los Angeles County for more than 35 years. He was an avid sports fan, softball player, baseball coach, and train enthusiast. George was a generous contributor and volunteer to many charities, and in 2013, he was honored with the Bishop Mora Salesian Mustang award for his volunteer contributions to the students and staff at the high school. He loved to travel with his wife Belinda, and one of his favorite places to visit included Colorado to see his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda, stepchildren Yvette and Stephen, and his grandchildren, Amanda, Dylan, Isabel, and Christian. Any donations in George's honor may be sent to Bishop Mora Salesian High School (mustangsla.org).
